Description de mission

I worked on a fixed-term contract as a Gameplay Programmer, using the UE5 engine, at the company Jodi-A Editions. I had the opportunity to work on the refactoring and QA for the game Sliding Bears (available on Steam), as well as on a second, unannounced project.

Sliding Bears

Sliding Bears is an arcade-style party game for everyone, in which you play as little bears that slide across ice and have to crash into each other to inflict damage. There are power-ups to spice things up.

On this project, I was tasked with rethinking and re-architecting a large part of the game’s Blueprint codebase, as well as developing various gameplay elements. My responsibilities included QA, implementation and UI design. I also helped implement the multiplayer feature via Steam.

RE Project - unannounced

I also worked on a second, unannounced game, again as a Gameplay/Generalist Programmer (C++/Blueprint), including customising certain parts of the Unreal physics engine, but also taking on a more organisational role, using my knowledge of Agile methodologies.
